Wash in Cleaner Gentle, yet effective cleaner removes dirt, oils and airborne contaminants without stripping durable water repellency (DWR) from technical clothing and equipment. Ideal cleaner for maintaining water repellency on new garments. Wash in Cleaner Plus includes the PLUS additive that eliminates odors. Use on old garments to clean, and prior to re applying restorative water proofing treatments. Traditional soaps and detergents often contain perfumes, bleaches and fabric softeners that leave water attractive residues covering up the fabric’s water repellent finish. These residues are difficult to rinse off and cause the fabric to ‘wet out’ – which reduces breathability. Regular use of Wash in Cleaner Plus revives the performance of technical fabrics like Gore Tex®, eVent®, Sympatex®, Precip®, Dry Plus® and Helly Tech®. (Wash in Cleaner Plus is an upgraded version of the Granger’s Extreme Cleaner Plus.) Concentrated formula gently cleans all technical clothing & equipment. Residue free formula maintains water repellent finish on fabric. Works in hard or soft water. Water based, biodegradable. Contains no UV brighteners, whiteners or perfumes. Effective on Gore Tex® and all other waterproof / breathable fabrics. Enhances the look and feel of technical fabrics. Concentrated formula is economical.
